உள்ளத்தே யுறையும் மாலை
உள்ளுவா னுணர்வொன் றில்லா,
கள்ளத்தேன் நானும் தொண்டாய்த்
தொண்டுக்கே கோலம் பூண்டேன்,
உள்ளுவா ருள்ளிற் றெல்லாம்
உடனிருந் தறிதி யென்று,
வெள்கிப்போ யென்னுள் ளேநான்
விலவறச் சிரித்திட் டேனே. (34)
Summary
O Lord, You reside in every heart. You are witness to every thought that passes in every mind. I have no means to realize you. I am false, I pretend to serve you. I stand without shame and laugh till my ribs break.

ஆருயி ரனைய எந்தாய்,
பாவியே னுன்னை யல்லால்
பாவியேன் பாவி யேனே. (35)
Summary
O Lord my Senkamal! I worship none but you. Then you leapt over the heads of all the world. My soul, my Ambrosia, my Lord Sweet as my own life-breath! Other than you, I certainly have none, O Woeful, woeful me!

தொழிவதே,உன்னை யன்றே
அழைக்கின்றேன் ஆதி மூர்த்தி.

Summary
O Prince who lifted a mountain against the storm! O River of sweetness! I was caught in the net of fawn-eyed damsels and struggled. Is this fair on you not to take notice? I have none to call but you! O First Lord, Lord of Arangama-nagar!

எந்திறத் தெம்பி ரானார்,
அளியன்நம் பையல் என்னார்
அம்மவோ கொடிய வாறே. (37)
Summary
The Lord of Tiru-Arangam in the midst of turbulent waters is the radiant Lord himself; he is the mother and father to all, with simplicity and grace. Alas, he does not look at me and say, “Aho, This is our ward, we must protect him”. O, the terrible ways!

மேம்பொருள் போக விட்டு

கடைத்தலை யிருந்து,வாழும்
சோம்பரை உகத்தி போலும்
சூழ்புனல் அரங்கத் தானே. (38)
Summary
O Lord, surrounded by waters! There are those who subdue the senses, cut attachments, concentrate on the spirit, and realize the truth. There are others who shaved their heads, and live at your portals as idlers. Are you not pleased with both?

அடிமையில் குடிமை யில்லா
அயல்சதுப் பேதி மாரில்,

மொய்கழற் கன்பு செய்யும்,
அடியரை யுகத்தி போலும்
அரங்கமா நகரு ளானே. (39)
Summary
O Tulasi-wreathed Lord with lotus feet! Rather than a life of high birth and Vedic proficiency bereft of the spirit of service, you are pleased with a life of devotion, — even if it be from one born of the lowest rungs of the society. O Lord of Arangama-nagar!

மொய்த்தவல் வினையுள் நின்று
மூன்றெழுத் துடைய பேரால்,

கிரங்கும்நம் மரங்க னாய
பித்தனைப் பெற்று மந்தோ.
பிறவியுள் பிணங்கு மாறே. (4)
Summary
Standing in deep sin, singing the three syllabled name ‘Govinda’, the fabled Khattirabandu attained the highest state. Despite the easy reach of a mad Lord called Ranga who melts for his devotees, how people suffer rebirth.

டீட்டிய வினைய ரேலும்,
அருவினைப் பயன துய்யார்
அரங்கமா நகரு ளானே. (40)

வானுளா ரறிய லாகா
வானவா. என்ப ராகில்,
தேனுலாந் துளப மாலைச்
சென்னியாய். என்ப ராகில்,
ஊனமா யினகள் செய்யும்
ஊனகா ரகர்க ளேலும்,
போனகம் செய்த சேடம்
தருவரேல் புனித மன்றே? (41)
Summary
O Lord with Srivatsa on your chest! Those who keep you in their thoughts, with their hearts drawn to you, – even if they earn the infamy of killing all creatures and destroying the world with fire, – they will not bear the burden of their acts, such is your grace. O Lord of Tiru-Arangam!

Summary
What though they are terrible ones, engaging others in terrible acts, if they only call “O Lord-whom-even gods-can’t comprehend!” and “O Lord-with-bee-humming-Tulasi-garland-wreath!”, if they give the leftovers of what they eat, that becomes sanctified food for me.

அவர்கள்தாம் புலையர் போலும்
அரங்கமா நகரு ளானே. (43)
Summary
Faultless well-bred ones, well versed in the four Vedas, — even if born in poor families, — if they are your devotees, you treat them on par with yourself, worthy of worship, saying, “Revere them, give them, take to them.” O Lord of walled Arangama-nagar!
