பின்னைகேள்வ. நின்னொடும்,
பூட்டிவைத்த வென்னைநின்னுள்
நீக்கல்பூவை வண்ணனே. (99)
Summary
O Lord of Kaya blossom-hue and spouse of Lady Nappinnai! By grace of showing me self, you made my heart to come to you. The things I heard the Lord of Death will do to damage me are wrong, for you do hold me in your heart, I pray you do not leave me now.

மின்னுருவாய் முன்னுருவில் வேதம் நான்காய்
விளக்கொளியாய் முளைத்தெழுந்த திங்கள் தானாய்,
பின்னுருவாய் முன்னுருவில் பிணிமூப் பில்லாப்
பிறப்பிலியாய் இறப்பதற்கே எண்ணாது, எண்ணும்
பொன்னுருவாய் மணியுருவில் பூதம் ஐந்தாய்ப்
புனலுருவாய் அனலுருவில் திகழுஞ் சோதி,
தன்னுருவாய் என்னுருவில் நின்ற எந்தை
தளிர்ப்புரையும் திருவடியென் தலைமே லவ்வே. (2) 1
Summary
The tender feet, of the Lord are on my head. He is the subtle essence of all these forms, the four Vedas, light of the lamp, the rising Moon, the more sublime, the ageless, disease-less, birth less, deathless one, the golden image, the gem-form, the five elements, the fluid, the fiery, the radiant form within me.

பொன்னானாய். பொழிலேழும் காவல் பூண்ட
புகழானாய். இகழ்வாய தொண்ட னேன்நான்,
என்னானாய்? என்னானாய்? என்னல் அல்லால்
என்னறிவ னேழையேன், உலக மேத்தும்
தென்னானாய் வடவானாய் குடபா லானாய்
குணபால தாயினாய் இமையோர்க் கென்றும்
முன்னானாய் பின்னானார் வணங்கும் சோதி.

Summary
O First Lord! O Golden Lord, sentinel of the seven worlds! Other than exclaiming, “What happened to you? Where are you?”, this despicable lowly devotee-self knows nothing. O Lord of the South, Lord of the North, Lord of East and west! O Rutted elephant! O First Lord of the celestials! You are the radiant Lord of Tirumulikkalam, where later generations will worship you forever.

எட்டனைப்போ தெங்குடங்கால் இருக்க கில்லாள்
எம்பெருமான் திருவரங்க மெங்கே? என்னும்
மட்டுவிக்கி மணிவண்டு முரலும் கூந்தல்
மடமானை இதுசெய்தார் தம்மை, மெய்யே
கட்டுவிச்சி சொல் , என்னச் சொன்னாள் நங்காய்.

நெஞ்சுருகிக் கண்பனிப்ப நிற்கும் சோரும்
நெடிதுயிர்க்கும் உண்டறியாள் உறக்கம் பேணாள்,
நஞ்சரவில் துயிலமர்ந்த நம்பீ. என்னும்
வம்பார்பூம் வயலாலி மைந்தா என்னும்,
அஞ்சிறைய புட்கொடியே யாடும் பாடும்
அணியரங்க மாடுதுமோ தோழீ என்னும்,
எஞ்சிறகின் கீழடங்காப் பெண்ணைப் பெற்றேன்
இருநிலத்துஓர் பழிபடைத்தேன் ஏபா வம்மே. 12
Summary
Her heart melts, her eyes swell, she stands then falls, She has lost her sleep, forgotten her food. “O Lord reclining on the serpent! O Prince of Tiruvali surrounded by fragrant groves”, she says, then sings and dances. He spirit soars like the winged Garuda. “Friend, shall we go to Tiru-Arangam and dance?”, she says, no longer under my control, Alas, I have earned the disrepute of the world.

காமருபூங் கச்சியூ ரகத்தாய். என்றும்,
வில்லிறுத்து மெல்லியல்தோள் தோய்ந்தாய். என்றும்
வெஃகாவில் துயிலமர்ந்த வேந்தே. என்றும்,
,அல்லடர்த்து மல்லரையன் றட்டாய். என்றும்,
மாகீண்ட கத்தலத்தென் மைந்தா. என்றும்,
சொல்லெடுத்துத் தங்கிளியைச் சொல்லே என்று
துணைமுலைமேல் துளிசோரச் சோர்க்கின் றாளே. 13
Summary
“O Lord who stopped a halistorm holding up a mount!”, she calls, then “O Lord of Urakam in kanchi surrounded by fragrant groves!”, then again, “O Lord who embraced the silm Sita after wielding the bow! O My king who reclines in the temple of Venka! O wrestler who vanquished the mighty wrestlers. O Mighty-armed one who ripped apart the horse kesin’s Jaws!”. Word by word she teaches her pet parrot to speak, then weeps over the tight breasts!

முளைக்கதிரைக் குறுங்குடியுள் முகிலை மூவா
மூவுலகும் கடந்தப்பால் முதலாய் நின்ற,
அளப்பரிய ஆரமுதை அரங்கம் மேய
அந்தணனை அந்தணர்தம் சிந்தை யானை,
விளக்கொளியை மரகதத்தைத் திருத்தண் காவில்
வெஃகாவில் திருமாலைப் பாடக் கேட்டு
வளர்த்ததனால் பயன்பெற்றேன் வருக. என்று
மடக்கிளியைக் கைகூப்பி வங்கி னாளே. 14
Summary
She heard her parrot sing of her Lord thus; “O Rising sun, O Laden cloud. O Permanent one, O First One beyond the three worlds, O immeasurable, O Ambrosia, O Lord of Arangam O Forever-in-the-thoughts-of-pure-Vedantins! O Beacon of Tiruttanka, O Emerald of Vehka, O Lord Tirumal”, Welcome Sir, my labour shave been rewarded”, she said, and saluted the frail creature with folded hands.

களிறென்றும் கடல்கிடந்த கனியே. என்றும்,
அல்லியம்பூ மலர்ப்பொய்கைப் பழன வேலி
அணியழுந்தூர் நின்றுகந்த அம்மான் என்றும்,
சொல்லுயர்ந்த நெடுவீணை முலைமேல் தாங்கித்
தூமுறுவல் நகையிறையே தோன்ற நக்கு,
மெல்விரல்கள் சிவப்பெய்தத் தடவி யாங்கே
மென்கிளிபோல் மிகமிழற்றும் என்பே தையே. 15
Summary
My daughter rests her big ornate Vina on her bosom, with a smile that reveals jasmine-like teeth, She plays over the frets till her slender fingers redden, sinking softly like a parrot, “O Elephant residing in Kanchi surrounded by high masonry walls, O sweet fruit reclining in the ocean, O Lord standing in beautiful Alundur Surrounded by water tanks with lily blossoms”.

கடிபொழில்சூழ் கணபுரத்தென் கனியே. என்றும்,
மன்றமரக் கூத்தாடி மகிழ்ந்தாய். என்றும்,
வடதிருவேங் கடம்மேய மைந்தா. என்றும்,
வென்றசுரர் குலங்களைந்த வேந்தே. என்றும்,
விரிபொழில்சூழ் திருநறையூர் நின்றாய். என்றும்,
துன்றுகுழல் கருநிறத்தென் துணையே என்றும்
துணைமுலைமேல் துளிசோரச் சோர்க்கின் றாளே. (2) 16
Summary
“O Bull who enjoys grazing cows. O My sweet fruit of Kannapuram surrounded by fragrant groves. O Pot dancer who enjoyed performing before packed audience, O Prince residing in Northen venkatam, O king who vanquished the Asura clan in wars, O Lord of Tirunaraiyur surrounded by vast orchards, O My sweet companion with dense black curly hair!” She sings, with tears rolling over her tight breasts, and swoons.

சிறுகுரலுக் குடலுருகிச் சிந்தித்து, ஆங்கே
தண்காலும் தண்குடந்தை நகரும் பாடித்
தண்கோவ லூர்ப்பாடி யாடக் கேட்டு,
நங்காய்.நங் குடிக்கிதுவோ நன்மை? என்ன
நறையூரும் பாடுவாள் நவில்கின் றாளே. 17
Summary
Her gently risen breasts have become pale. Tears flow from her fish like warning eyes. Hearing the male pigeon cooing to its red-footed mate softly she falls into deep thought, she danced and sang of the Lord in Tirutanka. Tirukkundandai and Tirukkovalur. “My Dear Daughter, is this befitting our family?” I asked, “I shall sing of Naralyur then”, she replied.
